RICE
1. Ideally, serve rice as soon as it has been cooked.
2. If that is not possible, cool the rice as quickly as possible (best within one hour).
3. Keep rice in the refrigerator for no more than one day until reheating.

RUBBER BANDS
- Wrap rubber bands around the ends of coat hangers to prevent dresses and tops from slipping off.
- Wrap a rubber band around the lid of a jar to help you unscrew the jar.
- Wrap a rubber band around the open paint tins. This enables you to quickly remove excess paint from your brush and keeping the paint tins free from drips.

1. Hang rugs on a washing line and beat with a tennis racquet. Beat the wrong side first.

1. Saturate the stain with lemon juice, rub with salt and leave in direct sunlight until dry. Wash
as normal.
2. Cut a potato and dip it in backing powder. Rub away the rust.
3. Apply a cloth soaked in coca cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes. It will then loosen.
